Water Softener & Reverse Osmosis Installation
We're plumbers, not a water-treatment company — but softeners and RO units are on our service list because in this water they're part of looking after a house. We install them, plumb the loop, and replace the ones that have given up. The City's own report puts hardness at about 38 grains per gallon; the USGS calls anything over 10.5 'very hard'. The water is safe. Scale is the issue.
What that covers
- Whole-house water softener installation
- Reverse-osmosis drinking-water systems under the kitchen sink
- Softener loop plumbing for a house that doesn't have one
- Replacing a softener or RO unit that has stopped working
- Flushing water heaters and tankless units to clear scale
Locally
The numbers, and where they come from, are on our hard water page — every figure is from the City of Alamogordo's own Consumer Confidence Report. Sizing and brand choice we'll talk through on the phone.
